Bo Nix has finally been assigned a jersey number.
The Broncos recently announced that their rookie quarterback Bo Nix will wear the No. 10 for the 2024 season. Zach Wilson, who previously had the number, will now wear No. 4.
Jarrett Stidham, who wore No. 4 in 2023, will now wear his old college number, No. 8, which he used while playing at Auburn.
Nix has always worn the No. 10 throughout his football career. He wore it in high school, where he achieved over 12,000 total offense yards and 161 touchdowns, and also during his time at Auburn and Oregon.
Nix, the 12th overall pick for the Broncos, also had No. 10 during his three years at Auburn and two seasons at Oregon. In 2023, he set records for completions, passing yards, and touchdown passes while playing for Oregon.
His father, Patrick, also wore No. 10 during his college football career at Auburn, where he totaled 4,957 passing yards and 31 touchdowns.
Other jersey numbers for Denver's 2024 rookie class are: Troy Franklin – No. 16, Audric Estime – No. 37, Devaughn Vele – No. 81, Jonah Elliss – No. 52, and Nick Gargiulo – No. 66.
Cornerback Kris Abrams-Draine will wear No. 31, which was previously worn by Justin Simmons, a former safety.
The jersey numbers may change before the regular season starts. Last year, Marvin Mims Jr. switched from No. 83 to No. 19 before Week 1.
Fans can buy the jerseys at the Broncos’ team store or online.
