Megyn Kelly said she did not expect Trump to appear on her show again “anytime soon” as he had “gone on the attack” against her since their last interview.

Megyn Kelly told Newsmax host Eric Bolling that she did not expect former President Donald Trump to appear on her show again “anytime soon” as he had “gone on the attack” against her since their last interview.

After Kelly defended Trump’s controversial “poisoning the blood” migrant remarks, Bolling asked her, “I know you’ve interviewed him before quite a bit. Have you had him on recently? Would you like to have him on again?”

Kelly replied, “So I had him on in September and I don’t know that he loved that interview.”

She explained:

There was a contentious part about the criminal cases, and there were lovely parts too, you know, but Trump, he kind of wants it all to be lovely. He doesn’t want any contention, even though that works, you know, in terms of getting eyeballs to the interview, which is what he really likes. And since then he, I don’t know, he’s kind of gone on the attack against me a couple times publicly. He’s still really mad about that debate question, so not sure he’s gonna come on anytime soon.

“Still?” questioned Bolling.

“I think so,” replied Kelly. “He brings it up a lot.”

Bolling concluded, “He does have a long memory when it comes to those things.”

Trump’s feud with Kelly began in August 2015, when Kelly asked the then-Republican presidential candidate about his previous comments calling “women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.”

Since then, Trump has repeatedly attacked Kelly and called her names, despite Kelly’s vocal support for the former president.

While the feud appeared to cool down, with Trump sitting down for an interview with Kelly in September, the former president quickly resumed his attacks on Kelly, accusing her of asking “nasty” questions.

“She just, you know, boy, she became nastier all of a sudden,” said Trump during a campaign rally. “She was pretty nasty, didn’t ya think? Anybody that watched it?”

A few months later, after Kelly served as a moderator of NewsNation’s Republican primary debate – which Trump skipped – Trump branded Kelly “the biggest loser” of the evening.

In March, Trump responded to Kelly’s frequently positive words for him by accusing her of “making a career” off of pretending to like him.
