A man was accused of committing murder on Thursday morning after allegedly stabbing another man to death in a residence in the Middle Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. A woman was also injured during the incident.
Authorities stated that Tyrone Taylor, 52, and the woman were transported from the Davenport Street residence to hospitals for medical care.
Taylor sustained hand injuries and was taken into custody at the hospital. The woman was reported to be in stable condition.
Emergency responders were summoned to the residence at approximately 11 p.m. on Wednesday. Investigators mentioned that all three individuals were acquainted with each other and had gathered at the location before the assault occurred.
The deceased individual had suffered multiple stab wounds, according to the police. His identity has not been disclosed.
Taylor faces charges of homicide, attempted homicide, and aggravated assault. There was no mention of his place of residence or legal representation in online court records. Additionally, he had not yet been presented before a court.
