DENVER — The 32-year-old YouTuber, who recorded himself driving from Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 minutes while going over 150 mph on Interstate 25, admitted to showing speed as part of an agreement with the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.

Rendon Dietzmann, known as Gixxer Brah on YouTube, was arrested in Texas on Feb. 7 based on a warrant from Colorado State Patrol issued in December.

Dietzmann faced seven misdemeanor and traffic charges, including menacing and reckless endangerment, after sharing a now-deleted video of him driving over 150 mph on I-25 from Garden of the Gods Road, maneuvering through tight spaces between vehicles, and changing lanes and using the highway shoulder.

Dietzmann admitted to speed exhibition and will pay a fine of up to $300, the $1,996 cost of coming back to Colorado, and court fees under the plea deal, according to the district attorney’s office.

The deal also involves a 14-day jail term — which he has already served in relation to the case — and 12 points added to his driver’s license. As per the district attorney’s office, he will not be allowed to drive in Colorado.

Dietzmann’s plea agreement will come into effect after his sentencing on April 23.
