Ex Allegheny County detective admits to harassing behavior in incident at Export bar

A former Allegheny County detective pleaded guilty Monday to two summary harassment citations connected to an incident at an Export bar last year.

A former Allegheny County detective confessed on Monday to two summary harassment citations related to an event at an Export bar last year.

Raymond Bonacci, 57, of McKeesport, was instructed to pay $362 in fines and expenses, according to legal records.

The two harassment counts were submitted last week when prosecutors dropped a criminal case against him after talking with two women state police said he struck at Joey’s the Edge bar on Nov. 29.

One of the women was rendered unconscious, according to police.

Bonacci retired from the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office in 2023, after being accused of providing testosterone and Adderall to his teenage son while his son was playing high school football. Those charges were dismissed in late September.
