RCMP officers in Kelowna are currently examining the discovery of two bodies inside a nearby establishment after gunfire and a fire broke out.
Law enforcement received a report of gunshots and a subsequent fire at the Adams Road area on Wednesday afternoon, prompting a response from the Mounties.
Upon entering the building, officers came across two bodies, but no further information has been provided.
Authorities believe this incident is confined and does not pose a risk to the public.
The Mounties are collaborating with the B.C. Coroners Service to ascertain the causes of death.
