PRINCE GEORGE — Police in Prince George have announced that three young people were taken into custody following the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old in the city.
Authorities in Prince George say that on Thursday morning, police were called to a reported stabbing where they discovered a 17-year-old boy with life-threatening injuries.
Law enforcement reports that the victim was brought to the hospital but did not survive.
Investigators indicate that they apprehended three young suspects but did not provide details about their age or gender.
The Prince George police believe that it was an “isolated incident” and there is no threat to the public.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact the authorities.
