The Penn Hills School Board members decided to create a new committee to ensure that the district's art and music departments are included in school planning.
The Penn Hills School Board Arts Committee will provide a platform for leaders of the art and music departments to express their thoughts and suggestions to enhance creative activities within the district. Board member Heather Broman will lead the group.
The Arts Committee is not intended to be a policy-making body. Its members will bring up concerns, perspectives, and ideas about school-related matters that will assist school board members in making decisions for the district.
