GB News presenter and Conservative MP Philip Davies is set to receive knighthood with a notable Conservative Party supporter and three other Tory MPs.

The announcement is part of the most recent honours list advised by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to King Charles.

Davies, who has been in Parliament since 2005 and has been involved in numerous parliamentary committees, described the knighthood as “very surreal.” His wife, Esther McVey, who co-hosted a show at GB News with her husband until November, resigned to become a minister without portfolio in Sunak’s cabinet.

Also being honoured are businessman Mohamed Mansour, a senior treasurer for the Conservative Party and a billionaire who made a significant £5m donation to the party last year, Farming Minister Mark Spencer, and former ministers Tracey Crouch and Harriett Baldwin, who were awarded damehoods.
