Get ready and iron your finest white attire because Le Dîner en Blanc will come back to Denver this year.
As per an announcement on Tuesday, the dinner party is scheduled for Saturday, June 15 at a location that has not been revealed yet. In fact, the event's location remains a mystery until attendees show up dressed completely in white with their picnic meals prepared.
Keeping the location secret is a key feature of Le Dîner en Blanc, which first came to Denver in 2022 where nearly 900 guests gathered at the Auraria Campus downtown for an evening of dining and dancing. The other important aspect is the dress code — Le Dîner en Blanc translates to “The White Dinner” in French and adhering to it is necessary.
The event began as a small park gathering in Paris over 30 years ago and has since become a worldwide sensation with events in over 100 cities. This year marks its return to Denver since 2022.
Tickets are not available yet, but local residents who are interested can sign up at denver.dinerenblanc.com to receive notification once they are. It's never too early to start planning your table setting and personal menu of dishes to bring.
