The EU's permanent representatives of member states have agreed in principle to allocate five billion euros to the European Peace Fund for supplying military aid to Ukraine in 2024, as reported by the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council on the X network.

“An agreement has been reached. EU permanent representatives have agreed in principle on the reform of the European Peace Fund to finance support for Ukraine in 2024 by 5 billion euros,” the presidency said in a statement.
