Detectives specializing in murder cases are now involved in looking into the disappearance of 28-year-old Navdeep Kaur in Surrey.
Kaur's family reported her missing on Feb. 23. Investigators now suspect foul play in her case.
Because of this, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been brought in to take over the case. Kaur was last seen on Feb. 22 at 10:30 p.m., in the 7800-block of 123rd Street.
She is described as South Asian, 5-foot-5, 125 lbs., with long black hair and brown eyes.
“Investigators are working to learn as much as possible about Navdeep, and her movements leading up to her disappearance on Feb. 22,” said Corp. Esther Tupper, a spokesperson for IHIT, in a statement Thursday.
Anyone with information about Kaur is asked to call the IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at [email protected].
