Colorado's weather may have scattered rain and thunderstorms in the mountains and foothills

The rain from yesterday might continue in the Denver Metro area this afternoon, with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m.

The foothills and mountains could see scattered showers and thunderstorms on Monday. The National Weather Service predicts this.

Monday will be mostly sunny in northeast and north central Colorado, but there may be isolated and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the mountains and foothills later in the day.

The rain from yesterday might continue in the Denver metro area this afternoon, with a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m., and a high of 72 degrees. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low of 49 degrees.

Tuesday afternoon may see showers and thunderstorms returning with a 40% chance of rain and a high of 77 degrees. The rain might also continue Tuesday night, mainly before midnight.

There's a 70% chance of precipitation on Wednesday, with showers and thunderstorms possible in the morning and afternoon, as well as a 40% chance of rain before midnight.

The NWS suggests that rain and thunderstorms could continue in the Denver metro area through the week and into the weekend.
