Nancy Mace expressed strong anger towards Stephanopoulos after her ABC interview became very popular, and she kept saying that he ‘Attacked Me and Tried to Shame Me’

Nancy Mace raged at George Stephanopoulos on social media following her explosive interview where she accused him of trying to shame her as a rape victim.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) raged at George Stephanopoulos on social media — following her explosive interview where she accused the anchor of trying to shame her as a rape victim.

During the interview, Stephanopoulos played an old clip of Mace revealing she was a victim of rape when she announced Congressional candidacy back in 2019. He then pressed the South Carolina lawmaker on how she could endorse former President Donald Trump, who has been found liable by a New York jury of sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll.

Mace responded by accusing the news anchor of shaming her and attempting to get her to shame other victims of rape, adding, “I’m not going to sit here on your show and be asked a question meant to shame me about another, potential rape victim.”

Following the explosive Sunday sitdown, Mace continued raging at the ABC reporter on X, formerly known as Twitter, labeling Stephanopoulos a “Clinton crony turned fake journalist.”

“I was brought on to talk about 2024…instead Clinton crony turned fake journalist @Gstephanopoulos attacked me and tried to shame me as a rape victim. Gross,” she wrote to her followers on X.

Mace then invoked Stephanopoulos’ past work for former President Bill Clinton, where he served as the White House communications director.

She continued, “I’m not going to be shamed for being raped by a guy who worked for a President who wagged his finger and lied to the American people about having oral sex with an intern in the Oval Office…STFU.”

In addition to confronting the congresswoman about his support of Trump despite his being held liable for rape, Stephanopoulos also pressed Mace about her flip-flop in backing the former president after she said she wouldn’t post-Jan. 6.
