Donald Trump has long been against more aid to Ukraine, and some of his MAGA allies in the House have threatened to remove Speaker Johnson if the aid passes. push Trump Jr. seemed to echo his father’s stance on the issue on Friday with a video that showed Johnson both vowing to secure the southern U.S. border and explaining the high stakes in Ukraine for U.S. national security – the latter of which Trump Jr. was mocking.

We know the urgency in Ukraine that we’re going to stand for freedom and make sure that Vladimir Putin doesn’t march through Europe. It’s past time to secure the border.”
Although the GOP believes border security should come before more foreign aid overseas, most Republicans are against Putin and do not want to see him invade other European countries.
