Retired people were also involved in the protest, calling for an increase in pensions.

Protesters near the Argentine Congress building blocked the road, leading to police intervention in accordance with new demonstration rules. Law enforcement officers pushed the crowd back onto the sidewalk to maintain traffic flow.


The situation in Congress is currently peaceful.
A teachers’ strike has been scheduled for Thursday in Argentina. Authorities have warned that participating teachers will not be paid for that day of work.
