Somewhere near Prince George, there’s a sad drug dealer who just lost a bunch of product and money.
Police were called at around 1 p.m. on April 1 by a witness who made an unusual discovery.
The witness found some large black cases buried down a local trail near the 6800-block of Fairmont Crescent.
“When police officers searched the area further, they found a total of three cases buried in various locations,” said Prince George RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper in a statement Wednesday.
“Investigators opened the cases and found approximately $5,000 in cash and over 400 grams of illegal drugs inside.”
The cases were taken for further investigation.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity in their neighborhood is encouraged to call Prince George RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-561-3300.
