A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being shot on Monday in the Larimer neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
Emily Bourne, a spokesperson for Public Safety, said that the police were sent to the intersection of Paulson Avenue and Dodge Way around 5:15 p.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert for three gunshots.
The police discovered a man with gunshot injuries to his head, shoulder, and neck.
He was transported to a local hospital for medical care. The investigation is ongoing.
Bourne mentioned that the police are examining footage from nearby cameras and have recovered three shell casings.
