According to the police, a stabbing occurred on Pandora Avenue in Victoria on Sunday morning, resulting in one death and one person being hospitalized.
At 4 a.m., Victoria police responded to a reported stabbing near the intersection of Pandora Avenue and Blanshard Street.
Police stated that when they arrived at the scene, they found one man dead and another person who was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
The police have arrested one person, and they have stated there is no further danger to the public.
The 700-block of Pandora Avenue was closed, but it is expected to reopen on Sunday afternoon.
The investigation is now being handled by the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit.
