Eastbound and westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike I-76 between Pittsburgh and Irwin are now open again, after a crash caused electrical and communication lines to fall across the road, obstructing traffic.

The fallen wires closed all lanes of traffic on Wednesday afternoon, starting around 3:20 p.m. The closure lasted for nearly two hours.

At 5:17 p.m., Turnpike officials announced on social media that the road had reopened, but cautioned that there were still “significant delays” ahead.
