The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg is planning to have a blood donation event with the American Red Cross on March 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Smith Hall Lounge.
Members of the community are welcome to join the donation event, and can arrange their donation by calling 1-800-733-2767 or visiting www.redcrossblood.org and entering the sponsor keyword HAIL2PITT. Walk-ins are also accepted, but might experience longer wait times.
People who donate blood from March 25 to April 7 can get a themed Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and Red Cross t-shirt.
Donors can register in advance by going to RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass to complete a pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of the appointment.
